Marie Kleinert

Before moving to Bonn, Marie completed the bachelor's program "Molecular Biotechnology" at the University of Heidelberg. In Bonn, she then studied the master's program "Medical Immunosciences and Infection" and joined the IEO as a research assistant, contributing to the analysis of AI-generated minibinders. Now, she continues her work for the IEO as a PhD student, focusing on the development of an effective glioblastoma treatment, targeting chemokine-driven cancer progression. For that, she strives to establish a versatile screening pipeline, identifying promising candidates which interfere with chemotaxis, and therefore reduce cancer recurrence.
